I have always been interested in the artistic process but my other passion, the teaching of child has preoccupied most of my life.  I suppose I would be called an emerging artist as I have only begun to completely realize my artist desires and ambitions. 

There is no greater joy for me than to create an image from clay, paint, pencil or pastel.  I appreciate the unique properties of clay and its ability to create life in space.  I enjoy the way the strokes of brush, pigment and water can give expression to images of nature. 

I hope the observer is affected in the same way by my work.
